The Most Convincing UFO Encounter

It’s been 30 years, and we are still plagued by what happened to these children. These children witnessed something that would forever change the course of their lives. Some are still haunted by the sight of what they saw, and no amount of therapy can make it all go away. On 16 September 1994, just outside of the small town of Ruwa, Zimbabwe, sixty-two children at a once prestigious school named Ariel, said that they saw one or more silver aircraft descend from the sky and land on a field near their school. Despite the critics, the children still stand by what they said and saw.

As a kid, 8yrs, I saw a fire in the sky. Agressivly burning, stationary, no sound, no smoke, about 25yrds up. Then a square door closed over it and it was gone. Disbelief and ridicule is what I got, no explanation. This happened about 50 yrs ago. It made me open minded. I am glad more people open up about strange experiences these days.

I'm 72 and have no reason to make up a story. In 1994 during a big UFO flap here in Michigan I came around a curve on an interstate freeway (about 5 AM) and there was an enormous, silent, triangular ship hovering about 125-foot above the freeway - it was terrifying. There were numerous witnesses and some will talk and some won't. Four women went missing for an hour or so. People have no idea how complex this is, and, of course these litlle kids did not perpetrate a UFO/alien hoax - that's the idea that's completely nuts. A person either has enough sense to realize these kids could not invent this, or, they don't. It's that simple. They're describing a real event.

We all saw it. My dad was a farm manager on a tobacco farm about 15km from the school. I was 13 at the time, I'm the kid with the big floppy hat and the Casio.

Do kids lie of course but its very difficult to get a bunch of little kids to tell the exact same believe them

Please do me a favor, google images of Nigeria, Angola and Rwanda. I do not know why they only use pictures of poverty for Africa. The black children telling the story were clean. Get a true picture of Africa. It is a beautiful country with running water, buildings, schools, malls and a lot of other current technology.

I trust a 10 year old from Zimbabwe more than a government person, the universe has countless species of intelligent life forms, the only constant between us seems to be the design, a torso, two legs, two arms and a head. It makes sense, bipedal for movement with the least amount of effort, efficient, balanced, a great design with myriad head shapes, skin texture. On the universal evolution time scale, we're on the lower end of the scale, it's early in our evolution

There's a great documentary about this case called 'Ariel Phenomenon'' (2022) in which the kids, now adults, are interviewed again and they still stand by their story.

My name is Catalina Arias when I was about 12 years old I was sleeping one night and got up to go P right by the bathroom was my mothers bedroom and my two brothers were sleep and bunkbeds. The room was fairly large. My dad was sleeping and I saw my mom standing at the window, looking up through the thick metal blinds, I went to see what she was looking at and we were shocked I was shocked didn’t make two brothers woke up and came to the window. Awesome. We were all standing there frozen looking out it must’ve been 3 o’clock at night around that time we lived right by cross road, it was a big busy street and there was a silver spaceship, trailing in circles hovering above ground smoke was coming down from the bottom and lights were all around blue red yellow and we could see it almost took the whole crust week and all we can do is look at how this silver weird lying thing was spinning with light spinning all around. I don’t know how long we stood there, but none of us could’ve moved we were like frozen we never spoke to each other or look at each other. We were just there staring out, and it was surprising that my father did not wake up, I don’t remember how it ended because it was like so fast but not that fast and we never spoke of it again about when I was 52 years old. I asked my brother Jr do you remember when we saw that ship on the street through the window? He looked at me and said yes I do and that’s all that was spoken about it. it’s like something kept us from talking about it, or like we weren’t supposed to remember it but it happened I had asked my mother one time do you remember looking out the window and seeing that little spaceship twirling with the lights on all around the edge of the ship. It is amazing how easily this sounds like a young girls dream or fantasy but it wasn’t this happen in San Antonio Texas. I am 58 years old now.

I had the very same experience when i was approximately that age ..., and had one in my face, with the seperation of a living room window between it and me, and with the very same paralysis as it gazed through the glass at me as i froze and could not move as my body was being controlled by a foreign entity i had never seen, ever again . These precious children are telling the whole truth and "God bless them " for their bravery !

Theres no way that that many children could make up or stick to the same story or lie. Their brains are literally not capable of processing information in such a manner. I don't know exactly what happened, but I do know that it definitely did happen.

They're telling the truth. How come 64 kids said the same story if they hadn't really experienced it? It's impossible cos they're just kids. N kids speak from experience.

Every kid in Zimbabwe during that time knew what an aeroplane was regardless of their background, Zimbabwe was not that backward and it should be said, from the 60s up to the 90s, it had one of the most sophisticated economies in Africa . Thought I had to share that since the narrator was continuously emphasising the kids' rich background as a basis for belief. That said, I'm from Zimbabwe and I was 8yrs old when this happened and I still vividly remember this story being reported widely on TV and on radio. I 100% believe those kids saw what they are describing. Also, you can clearly see the trauma on their faces when they are narrating what they saw.
