at 7:00 the illusion worked so well I thought the colors and words were really gone, but moved my eyes and instantly they returned!

In the 80s and 90s I worked for a major photofinishing lab. I not only learned, but taught color theory. There is no color in the world, it is only perceived by your brain ( hence color blindness). Sun light is primarily R, G and B (a little more but they don't count much in color perception). Putting equal acetate R, G, B filters in front of a white light projector you will get white. Due to an objects molecular structure, ie. a red apple, G + B will be absorbed and R will reflect back to color receptors in you eyes so your brain tells you it is red. It's a little more complicated than that, but that is the basics and how we made color photos from the film you took into the store. Loved the video! thanks.
