Why use Javascript to trigger your tracker's click URL on the CTA button instead of HREF?

Thank you for the video Nick! I was wondering. If you use a javascript redirect like you described and the landing page domain gets flagged do we still need to replace the tracking/click url? It seems like google won't be able associate the click domain with the landing page domain (since the click url domain is not hardcoded in the landing page). What are you thought on that?
