Can't believe this is still relevant to me, all over again now with a bb2 on it's way... On top of my still flying reliable old 3.0. Hey they're timeless birds, great for fpv if one cant afford dji digital quality right, still great useable HD vid too, what else is there to say. Parrot is just awesome, next for me eventually will be a Anafi sooner or later. Happy flying all. ✌️

This is fantastic! I am 74 years old now and I have been looking for a good drone to learn to fly with. I didn't have money enough to buy a good drone, so I allways got bad flying with a lot of craches.

But when I found a cheap Bebop parrot 1 in Ebay I found what I have been looking for all this years. It is a fantastic drone, but I want to fly away longer now when I have been learning how to fly it.

Please let me know all about your setup and where can find all details I need. I don't have any money for a Sky controller, so this will be a very good experience for me.

Dude I bought a bebop 1 just the drone off letgo for 40$ and was like damn I don’t wanna spend money on the controller then I saw this and was amped man. Sweet set up. Also appreciate all you videos I got a hubsan h501s and a spark too can’t wait to see what this bebop can do.

I have a DJI Tello that uses WiFi to control it, I read the Xiomi repeater works well with it. Do you think this would be better, if I find one of those used? also don't like the phone to control the drone, I have a ps2 controller that is wired, and also a Bluetooth wireless controller, would the Bluetooth interfere with the repeater or would the wired one work better? also if I get a bebop can you use wired and Bluetooth controllers with the bebop? thanks

Hey bro I realize this is a long shot commenting and asking on a 2year old video but here I am😆. I just picked up a couple of these old original parrot Bebop 1 or whatever you call the one before the bb2. Anyway I am desperately trying to find a wifi extender for this application in my reality today but what you used in this video is no longer available for purchase on eBay or Amazon apparently. Can you or someone knowledgeable in this area recommend another that is readily available these days on Amazon or eBay that I can implement in modern day for this project? I did this for the original Bebop 1 but even with bigger 3rd party battery's I only get 10 minutes of flight time hovering which can barely get it a mile. I went to the beach flew it about 1450m (1600m=1mi) over the water. My Bebop returned using the 2500mah 3rd party batteries at 3%.

Don’t you think it’s crazy that they have the skycontroller 2 with the googles for $25 now on Last year around this time I paid $250 for the sky controller 1 wishing I had the 2. Lol....
