How can they mix all that aggression, anger and angst with this much love, passion and calmness in just one song. These guys never cease to amaze and blow me away.

Ok first off, the song is 🔥🔥🔥 But what I'm really here for is the conclusion of the story we've been following in the videos. I went back and watched them all in sequence. The symbolism and story are top notch.

The butterfly symbolizes rebirth.
Fire, water, and blood symbolize the cleansing of the soul/purification.
Him surviving the plague symbolizes he is righteous.
The broken hourglass symbolizes death.

Through the story in the videos I can only assume he is passing through purgatory after death. He follows the symbol of rebirth and becomes purified through the trials of fire, water, and blood. Because he is pure, he survives the plague of locusts and his soul has a chance to start over (symbolized by finding the hourglass and it becomes whole again). The final door opens to reveal the other 5 and he chooses a path to be reborn into. Epic.
