My friend and I came from Belgium to visit Bristol. On Sunday May 20th we were at The Fleece to attend the show of Gary Lucas - known from Captain Beefheart and Jeff Buckley - and were overcome by this amazing new artist called Luke De-Sciscio from Bath. He has an extraordinary voice and as a support act first played some beautiful folk songs of his own - of which I unfortunately recorded none. Then later on he gave a wonderful rendition of Jeff Buckley's 'Mojo Pin', together with Gary Lucas. Very grateful to have been there. I got to talk to him and he told me that his debut album would be out in October 2018, followed by a short stop in Belgium in February 2019. Very much looking forward!!!
