If you're looking to get away from it all (in a place with no phone signal and no electricity after midnight!) then you'll want to book yourself a stay on Lundy Island, a remote isle famed for its many puffins, seals, and other wildlife.

Located 10 miles off the coast of north Devon in England, this tiny speck of an isle is home to a colony of puffins, highland cows, Lundy ponies, manx shearwater, and plenty of other wildlife.

In this travel guide, we'll show you the best things to do on Lundy, including a visit to the Marisco Tavern (the only pub on the island), a trip to the three lighthouses of Lundy (Old Light, North Light, South Light), and how to go letterboxing.

What a great video - it has stayed with me for years... I first went there to do my DoE award, and stayed in the Old Lighthouse back in 1976! No lovely pier back then, just a small boat to get from the ferry to the island - Coming home of the last ferry trip, they could not land the small boat and we were nearly helicoptered back! I went back again with my sister a few years ago, lovely pier now! My niece also worked a season about a couple of decades ago. No campsite or holiday lets back then and this video had now put it back on my to stay bucket list ago.
