1: At 10:05 is that considered an unhooked raley but with a loop with the way he’s holding the handle with both hands? Name for that trick?
2: opinions of 13m vs 12m? Limitations to boosting or looping with the 13m because of its size and speed compared to 12m or is it truly the 12m for bigger guys?

I have a 2018 13 m dice that I love. Been thinking of making the switch from my older 2014 7m Vegas and 2015 10 m Vegas. My question is... would changing to the Dice be worth the upgrade from my Vegas kites? How different are they in those sizes? One thing I notice about the 13m Dice is that it's much easier to relaunch than my old 14m Vegas.

'm just getting into freestyle / unhooked riding but I also love to hit the waves on a surfboard during the winter or at the coast.

The dice works best for freeride if you are a lighter rider in my opinion!

Great review! I purchased a Monarch based on your reviews of jumping boards and your analysis was spot on, after getting used to how aggressive it is I have upped my jumping game a lot. I am experienced rider and dedicated to Rebels but recently have gotten in to looping and the Rebels (11 & 13) work fine for looping on transitions on both twintip and surfboard. Surprisingly the 13 is really fun to throw a giant slow loop on a surfboard while transitioning. Would like someday to add looping to my jumps but hesitant to try that with my Rebels. Feel they wouldnt be fast enough to catch me. Not at all interested in going unhooked at my age. So after all this my question is: replacing my old smaller rebel with a Dice to have more fun on a surfboard and possibly get into jumping with kiteloops. Big wind days here are around 20 knots. I am around 170 lbs, its always side onshore, choppy with challenging break here. What do you think? Looping while jumping is a fantasy .. stick with a new rebel?
