It’s a nice keyboard, but the case around the iPad will definitely make it heavier. Also difficult to use on a lap, really needs a desk/flat surface. Footprint is also bigger than the Magic Keyboard.

I’ve tried it. Too bulky, makes the iPad too thick and it takes up a lot of depth space wise and don’t fit very well with keyboard on an airplane tray.
The pros are obvious but the Magic Keyboard is still the better of the two.

I have an early iPad Pro 11. Within two weeks of ownership, it slid from my knee and cracked the screen. A short later, it fell again a set of cracks appeared.
Such a thing had never happened with my devious iPads. The cost of repairs was inordinate, but it still worked. On a visit to Singapore, I bought this Inateck blue tooth cover/screen protector with keyboard. The vulnerable corners are really well protected, and in the subsequent five years, there was no more damage, and so, about a year ago, at last I had a new screen costing £250 which is just as good as the original. Same battery but it is a little tired. I’ve tried other more beautiful cases/keyboards but, at none has compared with this one, .I haven’t seen anything as truly functional as the Inateck keyboard. Yes, there’s a magnetic, groove for the pen, oh, an it is a bit on the heavy side.

I have this keyboard and had the previous one for my iPad Pro 2018. Well worth it in my opinion! The magic keyboard wasn’t even an option once I seen they were going to come out with this one again!

Any keyboard with a sharp-edged kickstand that digs into your thighs when typing in your lap (which for me is more often than on a desk, ) is brainlessly designed. Apple is making each new iPad release more 'laptop' like then previously, so it's got to feel comfortable in your lap or in bed. Try typing on this in your lap for an hour in shorts. It's bouncy, unstable, you feel the kickstand's uncomfortable edge the whole time, and when you lift the iPad away, you'll notice 2 clear indents into your thighs. Deal-breaker.

I've owned both the combo touch and magic keyboard. The combo touch is hot garbage... but I guess that does not matter when Logitech is paying you through that affiliate link.
