Kamaka also needs to pronounce English words as well. Like once he did a show about Hawaiian jewelry. He kept saying “ jew-ry” instead of jew-el-ry! After awhile it was funny.

What is "correct" in one language is not necessarily the same in a different language.
Languages adopt placenames and adapt them to fit into their own languages' phonological systems.
For example, the English adaptation of Hawaiian "Oʻahu" is Oahu.
Oahu is INCORRECT in Hawaiian, but, nevertheless, Oahu is CORRECT IN ENGLISH.
Likewise, the Hawaiian adaptation of English "Washington" is Wakinekona.
Wakinekona is INCORRECT in English, but, nevertheless, Wakinekona is CORRECT IN HAWAIIAN.

So, it's INCORRECT to be saying that a different language's pronunciation is "incorrect".
That's because every language has its own "correct" pronunciations of adopted/adapted placenames.
