I think there should be some sorts of changes in rules and regulations for Allocation of IPOs. There should be one special category to apply IPO for investors with 3 years lock-in period and investors applying in this category should be given first preference. Sometimes person who has minimal knowledge about companies get Allotment and they sell their lots on the same day and get massive profits and real investors and value buyers don’t get any allotment and they have to buy through open market with huge price. Secondly person buying just single share before IPO get benefits and real investors holding since last many years are devoid of benefits. Its a business where Luck factor should be of secondary importance and Investors skills and patience should be prioritised.
