They are scared that workers are no longer being controlled by corporate culture at the office. Being home allows us to have a stronger body and mind. So strong that we have the strength to ask for more. More pay, more life, more spirit, more respect. And the CEOs don't like independent, strong, soulful workers.

Old man who actively works to undermine business complains about young people not wanting to live in the shit hole he is helping create.

I call crap on this old world thinking, Covid aside, working from home I’ve doubled my revenue, increased my productivity and improved my quality of life in ways I didn’t realize could happen.

"the world's not static" and "I refuse to change and adapt to a world that isn't static" within damn near the same breath.

Going back to the office would directly cost me close to 400k per year. It wouldn’t allow me to do my 2 side gigs which pay 200k each. I vote we continue to work remotely

The pivoting to NOT answer or provide real tangiable reasons is impressive. Dude should stop his rally speeches and get back to "letting the market figure it out" as the capitalists like to say

The youngest workers he's "worried" about losing managerial experience are the least likely to be gaining managerial experience while working. The youngest are most likely to be wage cage workers trading hours for minimum wage and not much else.

What a shame. Thinking WFH isn't helping in his desire to see 'America back to work'. I wonder if his company's real-estate holdings have something to do with his mindset. Work has changed, stop being a dinosaur Mr Griffin. :: Great interview Schatzker.

Maybe boomers need to learn to lead through remote applications and not the other way around? Why cling to business in person even clearly most people prefer to resolve things over email or text? Oh it’s probably because they all invested in commercial real estate…
