I've chosen to disconnect from the news media since it seems to perpetuate a broken system globally. The media owners' biased viewpoints seem to have a powerful influence on us, blurring our ability to reason and prioritise factual information over sensationalism. Since the debate, the media has focused on one outcome rather than Biden’s accomplishments.

Abby has been trashing Biden for two weeks now on CNN.

So Abby Phillips just effectively said:
1) It's not a journalist's job to sort lies from truth if it would take up too much air time, and,
2) Somehow, the moderators (i.e. journalists) would not be capable of calling out lies and exaggerations in real time without losing control of the debate.

Good moderators can do it. Kyle Clark did a really good job of it during a recent debate with five (5) participants in Colorado, including shutting down Rep. Lauren Boebert when she tried to lie about deceiving voters.
