I think chatGpt is still far from replacing developers because imagine if @Philip wasn't a developer, it was not going to build anything let alone a way complex app

I was a little terrified before watching this video, but luckily, I've discovered that we are still useful. You have clearly highlighted its limitations, although I must say it is very useful when making very small and specific requests. A big flaw is that it is stuck in 2021 with regards to code content, so many libraries, imports or functions are deprecated.

AI will never replace the developers but it makes them studying hard more than any time before, because it will able to generate a basic code.

I've been trying to work on and android app it's been helpful I think since I have limited experience. It seems faster than googling an issue scroling through results and hoping that stack overflow has an example. I would be curious to know how much time it saves a novice. Or perhaps see a side by side of side of trying to use chat gpt to assist while coding normally vs not using it possibly automatically search code with errors and recommend fixes as an aside to the ide.

The way I see is ChatGPT should only be used to ask specific questions or bug fixing during development. To use it for making app from scratch would likely won't be favorable, at this point of the time.
