One issue I'm grappling with is that I have a marketing/ content producer portfolio on Wix and I started a travel blog on it, but now I'm wondering - should my travel blog be a separate Wix site? Is Google going to get confused if it sees stuff about photography, videography, content creation, content strategy, but then I have a blog full of Colombia travel info? Especially since I don't care about directing traffic to my marketing portfolio, just to my blog..

Nice for beginners, but how about the use of H1, H2, H3, alt texts? Also, I think it would be better to do page-by-page optimization first before you set up Google Search Console so that the site is "pretty" already before asking Google to crawl and track it. Still a helpful tutorial though.
