And just moments after this in the tunnel Fabregas threw a slice of pizza at Ferguson. Too bad we never got footage of that 😂

That rivalry was the best! The Fergie vs Wenger years. From 1998-2005 it was absolutely incredible.

The referee in this match was Mike Riley - who produced one of the worst officiating I've seen in a game.
He is now the general manager of PGMOL, responsible for refs and VAR in the PL.
Would explain why it's such a farce when you've got people like him in charge.

Everyone knew that invincible run wouldn’t last forever, but the way it happened was just a disgrace

Henry is such good conversationalist. I like how he cutely hugged young Ronaldo and continued conversation with the United Goal Keeper. Classic matches; those were the golden years of the EPL.

I miss this era. Every match was a cup final. The passion was unreal.

“The moment when Arsenal game”

0:54 - 1:08 loved those scenes of two world class players (Henry and Ferdinand) discussing deeply the incidents of the match. Undoubtedly this period of time was when the utd/arsenal rivalry was at its peak, young football fans of today will never understand this! Wenger v Fergie was the REAL deal!

Ferdinand looks embarrassed at the end, he knew he shouldn't have been on the pitch. Probably the happiest I have ever seen Fergie celebrate other than 1999 UCL Final.

This were probably the golden years of EPL, even i watched this game as Ajax fan alongside my Arsenal friends, and remembers it so well, i was cheering Arsenal so much that year because of Bergkamp

Just listen to that crowd. Atmosphere at these games back then was insane!

Probably the worst refereed game of the early 2000’s. On par with any of the shockers at the 02 World Cup, or Barca-Chelsea in 09.

I think this clip is magical. These are some of my first memories of football and I hated this match even back then when I was still learning about these teams. But I love looking back on this because it paints a bigger picture. Superior rivalry between these two giants to anything you’d see today and even after Arsenal lost, they were still 8 points ahead of Utd at that time and you can see 6ft+ giants walking off the pitch at every angle who were all winners. The irony of it is that despite losing this game, this video emphasises how much Arsenal were ‘winners’ as well as Utd of course.
