Hope it's better than v1 for connection. I love wyze but would not recommend the v1 outdoor. Also the mount needs swivel so you straighten out the horizon when turning down and to side the horizon is tilted.

Was sold till the detecting by temp changes instead of pixels. When it's mounted high enough to take advantage of the wider FOV no doubt that'll be too high to detect animal and people heat.

Is the motion sensor still extremely inaccurate and very insensitive to motion distance? Then it’s a hard pass because the first version of this camera was absolute junk.

I would buy/replace 2 cameras if you made a solar powered Cam v3. You could even put the battery in the solar panel. I have 1 v3 and it’s better than any cam I’ve tried so far. An integrated spotlight would be a huge win. At least keep the option to mount a spotlight.

I ordered Wyze outdoor cam v2 bundle but two them now won’t charge. Call their chat support and today agent and no help. They don’t even have options. I really liked this product hence thought of switching my entire home security with them but with this service and product quality I am canceling entire order..

My V1 doesn't record, despite there being a memory card in BOTH the base station and the camera.

Does the V2 have the Stand Alone or Travel Mode that allows you to connect your phone app to the camera via WiFi and view the live video feed without being connected to the internet?

Hard for me to buy the Outdoor V2 cameras when 3 of my 4 V1s died, and the Wi-Fi signal was horrific.

When will be possible to have the Outdoor V2 Camara to record motion in the SD Card of the camara or the base? Very surprise that you guys have not fix this yet, I have solar panel that dose feed the amount of power to the batteries to do this but seems only is limited to records on line, the camara does not work for security purposes or is not so good as V3, I do wish you guys liberate this camara so can be useful for security and be able to record in the sd card of the camara like V3 and also in the base station. If I’m missing something or I’m not aware of how to set it up please advise. Thank You!.
