In my experience, only thing treasonous is leaving the AO for more than 10 seconds.

Killing your teamates, by either for fun or with EXTREMELY wrongly placed stratagem, is also treason (recently I play with some randos, dudes were killing each others with their guns and stratagems placed in our exact position, I told them in chat “stop killing urselves”, “that’s very undemocratic”, they died like 4 or 5 times).
