The Real Haunted Story Of Skull Chapel | Skull Chapel

Situated in the Czermna area of Kudowa-Zdrój in southern Poland, the Skull Chapel is an ossuary chapel. Constructed in the late 17th and early 18th centuries in the Baroque style, the temple now has thousands of human skeletons and skulls buried inside its walls, floors, and ceilings. Only five such structures exist in all of Europe; Poland's Skull Chapel is one of them.

Václav Tomášek, a parish priest from the nearby Bohemian area, constructed the chapel in 1776. The mass grave contains the remains of those who perished as a result of cholera, plague, syphilis, starvation, and the three Silesian Wars as well as the Thirty Years' War..
