If you need a meeting to buy something that means you need to be ready to spend shareholder amounts of money.

Its in the "If you have to ask, you cant afford it" category of appliances.

I got you...
The reason the price isn't shown is because its a discreet and customizable island unit, not unlike custom cabinetry. Similar systems cost in the $2500-3000 range for the induction kit alone, cabinetry would be extra. Typical island cabinetry will cost in the $3000 to $10000.
Conclusion, they're selling the complete kit, custom counter top and the induction kit in one package hence the consultation where they would take your design and kitchen layout into consideration before manufacture and shipping so you're probably looking at $6000 to $15000, maybe more, for that setup. Its a kitchen renovation purchase, nothing less.

They start at about $3, 000 and there are further costs for the counter top and you apparently also need special pots and pans.

If you want a hidden stove top, just get induction hot plates. They don't get hot, so you can just unplug and store them away immediately after cooking. They're about $100 each. WAAAY cheaper than a new stovetop.

So out of curiosity. I looked up this stove and it's starting at $2, 600 for a refurished stove to upwards over a little over 6k. I love to cook but at that price i wouldnt have money for food, or a house to cook on.

What I was able to find was "Generally, Lapitec countertops, which include the Lapitec Chef system, range from $80 to $150 per square foot installed. The exact cost will depend on the slab chosen and the complexity of the project, including any customizations." So I guess it depends on how big you want it to be.

Induction ranges have been around for over a decade and since they aren't direct heat it can be hidden. They are great for cleanup and there is no residual heat so you can't be burned....

That sounds amazing until you realize if you lose or damage those silicone mats... your stove ceases to work. Forever. Which is an idiotic design to CHOOSE to buy when there's induction stoves which are, say it with me, 👏Just 👏As 👏Safe 👏 and you can even use a silicone mat there too

Cool. Aesthetically perfect.

But forget, no home left.

Theres several "hidden" induction cooktops like this but they all suffer the problem of it being really difficult to line up the pots and pans correctly, usually the stove has some kind of beeping to indicate something's in the right place ...

But these mats are a genius fix for that problem

I refuse to do business with companies that aren't transparent about their pricing. Them disrespecting my time before a relationship is even established tells me everything I need to know about how that relationship is going to go.
