I remember seeing Spiderverse in the theater for the first time. There an applause at the end. The tribute to Lee and Ditko made one guy yell “We love you Stan! You too, Steve!”

I remember buying #1 only because the Fantastic Four were on the cover. Marvel's budget would not allow for a new comic, so Amazing Spider-Man replaced Amazing Fantasy. It was only out every other month, too, so two months later I missed #2 (the only one I bought used later). Can't describe my anguish when the sewer backed up in our basement and I lost my whole collection - had the first 100 issues, plus lots of others. Sigh.

I’ve been a Spider Man fan since I was a kid back in the 1970s and I’m still a fan of Spider Man this very day. I’d collected his comic books, watched the Amazing Spider Man tv sitcom, the cartoons, and all of the Spider Man movies. Thanks for making this YouTube about Spider Mans history I really enjoyed it.
