This is considered common sense anywhere in the world other than America. Whether you are black, white or brown, if you are born and raised in American, then you are American to the rest of the world. Even when you meet an a black American in somewhere like Africa, they are still considered American by the locals. America needs to get over this identity crisis they've got. It's a great country with great people. For some reason, that doesn't seem to be enough for some Americans.
