Difference between Harpsichord and Piano e Forte Actions

Since I often receive questions about the difference between harpsichord and piano, I made models of actions of Christofori's Piano e Forte and harpsichord. I used a 1.0 mm OD cantilever with a small Japanese style bell at the end in place of a string. By this arrangement, it is possible to recognize how piano and forte sound is made by the Cristofori's action, while the harpsichord action can hardly change the sound level.

That hammering mechanism so far is the simplest yet closest thing to the actual piano hammering mechanism, really simple but achievable by amateurish attempts in making. Thanks for this idea.
