I haven't watched the anime yet, but from the research I did the first episode of train arc is completely new content, and the movie covers episodes 2-7... You could've just said watch episode 1, then the movie OR episodes 2-7.

Id skip the mugen train movie and watch the arc instead just coz you get a lot more character backstory and general combat scenes with the 3.5 hours in the arc vs 2 hours of the movie.

This was so fucking confusing for me because Netflix labels the mugan train arc as season 2, and the rest of season two (the entertainment district arc thingy), season 3.
