BEST NANO PLANTED AQUARIUM FOR BEGINNERS (11L/2.9G) NO CO2!

This is my Imagitarium Betta Mono 11L (2.9G) planted aquascape! This was my first attempt at a nano planted aquascape and in my opinion this is a great tank and setup for beginners entering the hobby (despite what the internet tells you). I used only low demand plants and hardy fish in this tank without CO2 which is perfect for beginners. In this video, I will show you what I have stocked the tank with, what plants I have used, my cycling process and what I do for weekly maintenance. While this is not a tutorial or guide per se, I will say that with enough knowledge of the nitrogen cycle, some tips and tricks to fast cycling, you can easily create a beautiful nano tank just like mine! I got this exact same setup for Christmas from my ex a few years ago. But the plants always died on me, maybe I choose high demans plants…wanna restart it soon so I was happy to see this! What kind of filter media do you use in the factory filter?

hey! is your filter that came with the tank too strong for a betta? i used to have one but she died and i dont think her fins could keep up with the strong filter flow. any suggestions on how to kinda reduce the super strong flow to a more gentle one?thanks so much for the video too, haven't seen anyone else with the same tank haha!

I know this was posted a looong time ago but I purchased this same tank and was wondering how much stability I dose it while I'm cycling? Other sources aren't helpful

Did your fish acclimatize to the water ok?

That tank is way too small for bristlenose plecos and the barbs you have, they can grow up to 14cm at least. And guppies would become too big when they start to breed. 2 is a good number to start but the plecos and barbs need to be removed when they become to large.
