I think it's a bit arrogant to deign to say who deserves to get famous or not. Even the less than artistic musicians worked hard to get where they were and it's generally just shitty to think you can undermine that because you don't happen to like their music. That aside, I agree that The Lumineers deserve the recognition they are getting.
