Kassiopi, Corfu, Kanoni Beach | Landscape Photography

I photograph Kassiopi (Κασσιόπη), Corfu (Κέρκυρα), Greece (Ελλάδα) in this Landscape Photography video. Kassiopi has many stunning beaches and in the first of a 2 part Landscape Photography video I photograph Kanoni beach just around the headland from Kassiopi.

The weather in the UK has been poor recently so in order to get a sunrise I travelled to Kassiopi in Corfu to photograph many of it's beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters. I photograph Kanoni Beach in this video, which is a beautiful rocky beach looking towards Albania. I also fall over again. In the second part to this video I move around the headlands of Kassiopi and photograph Bataria beach and Pipitos beach.

Nice vlog John, some great shots liking 5:30 the best the light really is showing those rocks of and there is lots of mood in those skies, I'm always a fan of a moody sky shot.. and yeah I know the feeling of dropping things gutted about your chocolate bar.. just lost 2 filters in a tripod fall in Iceland.

Hey John, I liked the video and the area there was beautiful. I did have a question though. And this isn't to be critical but rather something I've wondered. One of the things I always hear about landscape composition is to identify your subject or focal point. When you have scenes such as these (the one at 5:32 as an example), how would you answer the questions about the subject or focal point? I liked the shot and to me, the entire scene makes a good photo but I can't say I'd be able to identify a specific subject. And I often shoot scenes in a pano and there really isn't a subject in my pano photos but I still think they work. What are your thoughts?
