Rejecting change is a founding principle of Conservatism. Those aren't Liberal Democrats, those are *Conservative* Democrats.

Liberal : someone sensible enough to realize that change happens in small steps. Progressives: someone idealistic who pushes for major changes, and wants to 'tear down systems' then wonder why none of their policies pass.
Even if I agree with your policies, you need to understand that you need the majority of Americans to want what you want for them. You can't just say fight fight fight and corporate media, when they average person disagrees with your proposals.

They have gone full circle to the more traditional meaning of the word liberal which is about economics and is closer now to what we think of as a conservative.

$174k a year is a lot of money. Along with a very handsome pension. We just need people who say that is enough and can’t be bought through lobbying.

I like Cenk really. All the things he's talking about are things I support. But Im a Liberal because those are things that make America more free and prosperous for all. I think a lot of Progressives are Liberals avoiding that label while others like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez are further left. I think his criticism applies more to certain Centrist Moderates who are too close the rich and big corporations. More importantly Cenk and others need to realize Progressives and Liberals are the minority in the Democratic Party and America. People are with on some things and strongly against us on others. So we have to work harder and longer than Moderates or Conservatives in the Democratic and Republican Party.
