I like Linux, although NOTHING is as good as Windows 7. This distro of Ubuntu still looks and behaves the same as 2 to 3 versions ago, except for Docky.

I've just put Linux Mint 10 LXDE on my netbook and it runs so much better than Windows 7 Starter (I always boot into Linux Mint). These light Linux editions are ideal for netbooks because Windows 7 Starter is pretty crappy (you can't even change the wallpaper without downloading a third-party program. How dumb is that!).

As you say the wallpapers are mostly ugly ugly ugly :)
