Well he would say that wouldn't he! I always remember an under pressure Ron Atkinson's reply to a journalist when he was told that the chairman said that he was right behind him. Atkinson quipped that he'd rather have in front of him where he could see him!

I actually believe the guy. Losing a cup game when your struggling is no reason to sack your man. Perhaps two or three more defeats in the league and maybe Fergie may have gone. But this is one of those drama stories. Something for the proles to get excited about.
