Sytrus Vs FM8

Do you pick plug-in sides? Usually those who do general aren't good at the one they don't like so they give bad uneducated reasons. Lets look at this objectively, shall we?

actually, in Sytrus, if you were to FM 1 into for example 2 and 3, within patcher you can automate each independently and/or differently, it requires a little work with formula controller or envelope controller, but it is possible

3:02 you can automate pitch with the mods X or Y. Select Pitch then Mod X or Y, then adjust the envelope

native instruments hasnt really updated alot of plugins. they released new battery and new reaktor so far.. massive is extremely outdated now with how serum has taken off as well

You can drop waves / samples in Sytrus and use that as a carrier or modulator, ;-)
and if you want to modulate a signal or sound, there's always vocoding.
I also recently found out you could create a full track with just 1 preset, check out the presets under sequences!
If you have tutorials on these, i would really love to know how to create them!

As well as Sytrus, FM8 has it's advantages and disadvantages but if it comes to making interesting sounding patches, they're equal.
