I lost a good friend of mine yesterday, in the plane crash.. she, together with her parents and younger brother were going on vacation to malaysia. She was so excited for it, she started counting down the days until she went. Really sad, that she actually counted the days she had to live.. It's 2014. The internet is full of MLG memes, Call of Duty montages and Illuminati theories. Perhaps you play Minecraft with friends (whose soundtrack is for another day ;D ). School was "hard" on you but you've had a great time with your friends...

What a wonderful world to live in. Nostalgia truly is the most pleasant and most horrific feeling in the world. It's upsetting you won't be able to ever experience it again - "You didn't know these were the golden days until they were over" but happy because it happened in the first place - "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

That truly has been the best childhood I could ever wish for! Goodbye 2000's-2010's, I have to let go of you now. I wish I could go back in time and tell my past self to cherish and respect the moment I was living in, even if I didn't quite understand why yet. Innocently just playing with friends, not even caring about the day after...
"We didn't know we were making memories we just knew we were having fun".



Edit: I just came back to the comments and well, 2k likes is a lot, and I'm not saying it like those kids who get excited from 3 likes, I'm saying it because it's actually meaningful for me.
