As someone who has (mostly) recovered into a larger body, I definitely struggle with remembering whether my eating disorder was "real" or whether I was "that" sick. As Mia said, if you're asking the question, you probably are. I am finally at the point where I see this as a good thing. And I'm also able to be strong enough in myself and my recovery to say that yes, it was real -whether or not anyone else can see that has become largely irrelevant to me. Thanks Mia for another amazing video :)

I really appreciated the part where you said there are lots of different paths to recovery. It’s much less intimidating to think about harm reduction than it is “full recovery” as it seems much more achievable and requires less certainty about the desire to recover which I think prevents me from even starting to make changes

You have been a big part of my recovery journey over the past 3ish years I found you before I chose to recovery and I come back every now and then and watch a couple videos and knowing you still here is a huge reassurance for me. Thank you for putting yourself out there and making videos

I absolutely loved seeing you light up talking about how excited you are to go visit your friend and go to TS concert.

And your discussion about the facade of "relief/control" relating to eating disorders really resonated with me. That will really help me have more clarity and self-insight whenever the next time my brain tries to sell me the story that eating disorder behavior brings relief/control. I need to bookmark this and just go back and listen to everything you said next time that happens because everything you said was perfect.

While I was watching this video I was thinking to myself how cool it would be if little Mia from 10 years ago could see what you are doing now or watch one of your current videos. I think little Mia would be so proud of what you have done and where you are now.

Thanks as always for the great videos. I've been a long time watcher and don't often comment but I do absolutely value your content and am really grateful to have stumbled upon your channel many years ago.

This video was helpful for me in many ways… Thank you (again)!! And I love how you defined ‘being in control’ vs being controlled

Now I'm imagining getting a recovery letter like a hogwarts letter and it just says "Congratulations! You're now recovered and will never ever struggle again!" 🤣

Can you make a video on autism and sensory issues and eating disorder link?

Hi Mia 😊 Thankyou so much for this video! I really want to say how much I appreciate and respect your approach to everything-stating your own objective & subjective views on things, your openness and honesty. As someone who’s trying to (finally) navigate my own recovery doing things completely different to how I’ve ever tried it (inpatient treatment, clinical monitoring, etc-although it helps physically and did allow me to start a good recovery last time, it was often times more unhelpful than helpful 🫤), I really value your content 😌.
I’ve watched your videos right from when you first started your channel up, and it helped me through some really tough times, even if it meant I just felt less alone.
I recently listened to your podcast episode on recovery burnout-something I’d actually never heard of before; something I think could’ve actually stopped me relapsing so much if I actually knew it was a thing. So I was wondering do you could maybe do a video on it? Possibly even creating an IG poll for others to ask Qs about it and maybe go even more in-depth?
And secondly, could you maybe make a video on what recovery coaching actually entails? Like who it’s helpful for, what, when, how, etc.? You might already have a video on it 🙈 but it’s something I’ve been thinking a lot about recently!

Anyways, Thankyou for everything you do 💯💞🥰✨

I sort of felt like people were unfair to you about your Sarah's Day videos. I've watched Sarah for a long time. The fact is any content creator who can't take criticism shouldn't have a platform. Not everyone knows their platform can be harmful to others and don't always catch it themselves, others would never do that intentionally. People got too defensive because they were faced with the possibility that someone they admire was hurting people. It's hard to come to terms with. It's just not your fault. Everyone has the opportunity to vet people who they take inspiration from and if they don't, they should start.

I have a question!

I want to be vegetarian (the thought that I’m eating animals upsets me) but I also want to stay recovered. Advice?? 🙁 it’s such a conundrum for me!
