How to build a simple camp stove- Alcohol Stove

Alcohol stoves have been used for over a century, and were popular for backpackers and campers. The design of alcohol stoves has evolved over time, and today they are less common than other types of stoves.

After building this stove I am not sure if it will go into the rotation of my other stoves however this was a fun DIY project. You can build a stove in less than an hour and be cooking at camp before you know it. I could imagine doing this project with boy scouts, homeschool groups or girl scouts.

We will review all the supplies needed to build your stove. I also try it out with my camping espresso machine.
