I think it's a great idea! The school system, especially once they get to middle school and high school, can be very traumatic and stay with a person for the rest of their lives. Better to give them a happy, secure experience and not put so much unnecessary pressure on them!

My older son is younger than your children and Ive introduced the idea of going to regular school and homeschool so he can get an understanding of both to see what he would say when I asked him which one he would perfer and he told me he wants to be homeschooled he has no interest in going to a school building. My family will be the only ones going into this journey in my life outside of social media and when I see these types of videos it is very encouraging to continue on this path. Great choice! Without a doubt middle school ( junior high in my day) was the worst 3yrs of my school life. Racism, bullying, insecurities, smoking, and drugs all happened in middle school.

Some of my cousin's on my mom's side of the family must have been ahead of the curve in the 90's because some of them were homeschooled while some of my other cousins also on our mom's side of the family myself included went to Christian & catholic school & we both ended up transferring to public school because of learning disabilities but it really surprised me when I talked to some of my cousin's who were homeschooled they told me they would get there school work in the morning then when they were done they did there chores then whatever they wanted to do for the rest of the day. They told me some were several grades ahead of were they were supposed to be at when I asked how. The home school work they got they told me if they finished & wanted to start working on the next grade they could & did. I was amazed at how much free time they had & asked my parents I could be homeschooled as well but at the time back then it wouldn't have worked. 🤷‍♀️✌️
