1 weapon I really miss is the old useable hyperfocus. Felt like an smg conference call and I wish it was viable at m10

Watching this just makes me even more upset about paying for the season pass for wonderlands. We got shafted. Bl3 with all it's flaws gave us so much content.

The Mailwan Takedown is the best end game content to date.

I remember when this was extremely difficult and everyone was struggling to do this. Now basically everyone can solo these

Extra projectiles made so many guns super fun, was a sad day when it got fixed. I absolutely loved the Carrier with it!

I liked the OP system the best because I didn’t feel forced to grind. As a more casual player, I was perfectly comfortable playing BL2 on OP0 and having fun with all the other add-on content. In BL3 and Wonderlands I feel like I’m missing out if I’m not at max difficulty, whereas the OP levels were a fun and genuinely difficult challenge for players who want to min-max that didn’t feel 100% necessary.

I'm glad tediores got some love in wonderlands, the only good tediores in bl3 where the anarchy and the needle gun :(

The Maliwan TD was the best endgame content they put out. Shame BL3 didn't get another takedown. Gearbox also should've made Mayhem 11 enemies (much) harder than those in Mayhem 10 to offset the lack of modifiers. By making M11 the same scale as M10, it essentially removed any reason to play M10, and nothing was to left challenge us with all of our maxed M10 gear.

I think they've come up with some great options, and I would be happy with any of them in BL4, if I'm being totally honest. I love BL2, BL3, and Wonderlands. The only thing keeping me from playing Wonderlands in its current state is that I can't enjoy endgame with my build. Instead, endgame just earns me the right to have a build with the current state of the loot luck system. Let me farm, Gearbox!

My biggest problem with chaotic is the inclusion of all the mayhem 2.0 modifiers that change the game in ways that just arent enjoyable, along with a failure of scaling them (ie- nasty spill is medium despite being one of my most common runkillers, while buff buddies is the quintessential medium modifier but listed as hard). Which leads to the old elemental overflow/nasty spill choice of doom

I agree. Mayhem 4 was the best the game ever felt. I could take just about any gun and make it pretty usable with any character tbh. I still to this day refused to ever do OP10 again on any character and honestly I refuse to ever redo 35 fucking chaos chamber runs on another character in Wonderlands either. Lame ass systems are lame. Mayhem kind of defeated the purpose because you could just get 1 good max mayhem gun and then you could get anything you wanted really but I'd much prefer just being able to switch up and deal with a bit of pain than just having to grind my ass off before I can even start to grind my ass off lol

Cant think of any Borderlands streamer still doing Wonderlands. I wish I would have waited to buy it until it was part of a bundle or heavily discounted.

I think Mayhem 1.0 was fantastic in concept, but the percentages were just insane. I think making things randomly difficult by cutting viability is great, but completely destroying viability in general is a bad thing. And I definitely preferred when weapons didn’t scale with Mayhem levels.

The tedium of chaos levels has a diminished sense of accomplishment with the (currently) problematic lack of balanced dedicated drops. Once you're done, there are some pieces of gear you can only get from the bunnies, so back to the chambers we go. Considering the absurdly low probability of finding that piece of equipment with desired rolls, and the seemingly lower legendary drop rate compared to BL3, I find it hard to enjoy farming. If the chaos run was more like a takedown, with a cohesive story arc, it would probably be a lot more fun.

There's honestly a lot to like in the Chaotic system, but I especially like not having to constantly reload to avoid getting a totally stupid modifier, which Mayhem was notorious for. You get some control over avoiding the ones that totally screw you over at least.

I don't like that it has just so many levels you have to grind out. But I think in this case, the system is better overall than what came before. Wonderland's problems are not rooted there.

(Also the fact that Borderlands 3 videos are appearing again speaks VOLUMES about the state of Wonderlands.)

Just shows the higher tiers borderlands goes the more unbalanced everything gets!! Same in wonderlands as Chaos tiers go up after lvl 40 the less and less builds work besides a handful with extremely specific gear and skills. I also think TVHM was a nice addition as well in difficulty.

what about just mixing all 3 endgame options? You have a trial like peak where you can prove yourself worthy of the added difficulty with mybe well scaled enemies and weapons that dont scale from 1 mil dmg to 1 bil like op10, mybe with the wonderlands "quality" settings (primordial chaotic etc.) although id then like to see somewhat of a "merge machine" like you can upgrade your pistol to a different grade if you have one with a higher one or even three which you can invest to make your x2 version of the same gun to said grade or then transfer anointments (cause rerolling kinda seems like pulling out of thin air to me) mybe kinda like the grinder of PTS? And of course if it has as many tiers as chaos system we need an option for like a more difficult/ longer run to skip five or ten tiers cause doing 35 times the same is way too tedious.

I think Gearbox needs to stop doing the OP/Mayhem/Chaos levels at endgame. The additional difficulty is what breaks balancing in these games. When we get to max level just have a switch that re-scales the game to max level and that's it

I think the Chaos system is the right direction, but it needs better progression. I didn't understand the point of only getting Volatile gear at Chaos 20, when the cap was 20; you are already beating it at Chaos 20 without the Volatile gear so what's the point? It should of started dropping before Chaos 20 to help you progress there. Same with Primordial at 35.
