When I type the command after launching root: TFile* f=new TFile("test.root") I get the following message: Error in <TFile::TFile>: file /Users/aneesha/test.root does not exist. Because of this, I am unable to proceed. What am I doing wrong here?

What if you do not have those given root files? When I use the command: ls -l *.root, it says "ls: cannot access *.root: No such file or directory". Should they be automatic when downloading root?
