Just finished getting a Big Brass block into my 2019 Indonesian Squier Stratocaster. Probably the most extreme before and after case, as I went from a shorty pot-metal hollow block that weighed maybe 5 ounces (150 grams) to the Big Brass Block (very heavy). The sound difference is astonishing, especially in clean amplification: clearer, brighter, and more mids & bottom end with much better tone (sound) separation. It's really, really shocking how much better it is. For dirty, like hard rock & metal, night and day. Highly recommended! Thanks Adam!

Wow, that Titanium in the Dirty Channel is

quite possibly the best video on trem block comparisons. simple sustain test, open chords, only wish we could've heard some hard rhythm strumming... only then you can hear the maximum harmonic output of the guitar.

it is great for observing the effect of material density on sound. the more density, the slower sound will travel: Ti has 4.5 g/cm3; Brass has 8.5 g/cm3; Copper has 8.96g/cm3. i loved the titanium block: you can clearly hear the fast vibrating harmonics (small wavelengths, sound travels faster through it); meanwhile in brass, the harmonics are slow-vibrating (big wavelengths), more so in the copper block. it all comes down to which you prefer. i like my overtones fast, and i have a thing for piercing high overtones: titanium favors the higher partials, so...

It's amazing how titanium parts change tone and sustain..especially using titanium saddles.

I just installed a brass L block in my Charvel. What a difference!!!! I will be getting more blocks for my other Floyd equipped guitars. The Jackson SL1 will be next!! Also considering some titanium saddle inserts. Thanks Adam!!

I use the “L” Brass block and I absolutely love the sustain and note definition it brings to my guitar. What the video can’t capture is the how much more responsive my guitar feels. It’s hard to explain but it adds a little magic to the guitars feel.

I have the Big Brass Block in my Jackson Soloist that was upgraded by the previous owner. Wow...unbelievable sustain and tonal differences it made!!! I will be upgrading more of my 6 guitars frequently!!!

Does the tone block on a floyd really do all that much? I feel like its impact on tone/sustain is greatly diminished since the strings don’t run through the block like they do on most non-locking trems. I could be wrong. I have mostly non-locking trems, and on those I have noticed pretty big improvements in tone and sustain when using brass blocks, since the strings are running through, and vibrating inside, literally making contact with the block itself. On a floyd, the strings are only contacting the saddles, which in turn make contact with the bridge plate, which, finally, makes contact with the block. More “middle men” to chip away at tone/sustain in that equation.

The third guitar from the left on the wall looks amazing. I need to buy one of these blocks for my Floyd, & maybe even a guitar from you.

I Love the Big Blocks ! I use the Brass ones and a Copper one. In my case it increases the output, sustain and adds a lot to your overall tone (Definition and clarity.) Once you've built one into your guitar the difference is noticeable when playing your electric guitar acoustically.
Want more ? Add the Naval Brass inserts and a Naval Brass locking nut for instance.
Oh and don't forget the the PMS (brass bar) which you can install to put your pick up on. It'll do wonders !!
But hey, it's all up to personal I'm a tone hunter. ;-)

In my opinion, the brass is by far the best, T second. Through those stocks and copper ones over the hill!😊🎶🎸
Great demo bro.

I like the copper best. For me the brass compared to copper muddies up both the clean and distorted tones slightly, note separation gets somewhat lost. This is also true on 2 of my guitars that have the brass blocks installed, although the brass is still an upgrade from most stock blocks for sure. Thanks for this vid!

copper is best i think, i mean it adds clarity and sustain but the tone of the guitar isnt changed that much compared to brass and ti.
Do you ship orders from your website in france ?

The biggest difference between Brass and Titanium is the increased bass of the titanium block, right?

Dude...why did you guys stop making or selling the tungsten blocks? Just curious what their story was?
