We are dying. And I’m going to let it happen. By the time you notice, the flowers will have already since passed. Their petals will begin to fall. Their vine will crinkle in the vase. And their heads will drop forever. Don’t pick them. You don’t get a souvenir for committing murder.

I am turning into you. Vile, spiteful, grotesque in spirit. Sucking the life out of God’s creations just to keep myself breathing. I heard fallen angels don’t come back. Do you think that’s true?

I have a soft tongue behind these teeth. Although quite sharp, I rarely use them. You taught me how. Don’t you remember? And now they’re braced with malice, filled with revenge, and your DNA stuck between them like steak.

You never wanted a good girl. You’d miss the foxglove and nightshade. You’d miss the way you could pour your poison into another and call it love, wouldn’t you?

We are dying. But you are dead all by yourself. Do you think everyone is capable of murder? That, I am uncertain. What I do know, is that you’ll eat your own tail to survive. And what you do know, is that I poured everything into you. That way when you leave, you’ll know exactly what nothing means.

Feels like the separation of what should have been against what was. Lost innocence while still a child. Sucking life out of creations breathing makes me feel like who I have become.

I mean it should come to no surprise that I'm a longterm fan of your poetry! And as a pisces sun (aka a mildly delusional person) I believe the impossible is possible and of course that goes for fallen angels and possible murderers too. I think the light within outlasts the dark more often though.
