What data do you have on screen for your rides?

I never have to worry about how many gears I've got left on a big climb, I've never got any left.

On my Wahoo (Bolt v2), there are LEDs at the top. They can be used for various things. When following a route, they indicate the next turn by flashing in the corresponding direction. In "normal mode" I configured them to indicate my current speed in comparison to the average speed. If the LEDs to the right are on (blue), I am above my average speed. If the LEDs to the left are on (I think it's green), I am below average speed. If only the center is on, I am around my average speed. You can also do the same for RPM and I think even for power output. This is a very neat feature.

I’ve had my wahoo for about 3 years & it’s by far the best cycling related purchase yet. Also in certain conditions it’s much better with the proper buttons rather than a touch screen & the battery is brill as in after a 100 miles ride it still had 38% left 😮

My favourite thing about my Wahoo is that it connects directly with TrainerRoad and automatically pulls my workout for the day giving me the option to stick to the same training plan and ride regardless if indoors or outdoors. My intervals are always there and ready to go when I start my ride in the morning! Super handy!

My training screen would usually have W3s, W20s, Target Power, Cadence, Interval Timer.

The live share can actually show more. I am a disabled veteran and so have medical problems. With the tracking turned on, my wife can see where I'm at, my speed, and heart rate. It gives her peace of mind as there have been a couple of times my heart rate went really high and wouldn't come down. I had to call her to come get me.

I have my Elemnt Bolt for 5 years and it works great. Occasionally I have to manually upload a ride, maybe once or twice a year. The rubber gaskets in two places stopped securing tightly and Wahoo told me they can't fix it. I used simple clear tape two years ago and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the great video.

I love the gradient forecast functionality on the Wahoo for the climbs. Pretty accurate too.

Pairing it with Strava and using it to track your time against a goal is great. Loop training is a good feature. Some people in a group I ride with have a traffic radar on the back of their bikes and get an alert so they can be first to yell "car back"

I love my Bolt and have heartrate VERY bold at the top of the page, then cadence, speed, and distance showing-if I reduce the text size a bit then I have power as well but I only have a power meter on my road bike not my gravel or mtb. The heartrate is so important as I have/had a heart issue (Superventricular tachycardia) and crashed twice with broken bones because of it. I have now had 2 heart ablations and according to my cardiologist I am fixed……..however I still consider it the most important metric for me.

I don't have a Wahoo yet, but learning that I could get that info from my Di2 on the head unit has made the decision easy. I'm going to get one.

As with most tech I own I probably only use about 10% of the functionality of my wahoo elemnt bolt, but pop up notifications and live tracking are nice bonuses to the basic metrics I use on my display.

Dear Manon and the GCN crew, thanks for all the great work!
If anyone could explain the lap button that’d be wonderful !Would love to be able to use it for some intervals.
Many thanks to all of you

I didn’t know about that feature regarding what gear you on. That is definitely going to help me. Thanks

You can pause the trip. Turn it off. Have your coffee/cake break. Turn it on again and resume. Didn't know that.

(you'll have to reload your ride but your activitydata will not be reset)

i used the LED on top of my Bolt to display my HR zone.
I find this useful to quickly gauge either to target zone or potentially for older people this is more important to monitor compared to speed or distance

I have the Elemnt Bolt V1, have had it for about three years. It works great no complaints. I only wish that Wahoo had a trade in program. I would love to upgrade but can’t justify it if my current computer works fine.

I love my Wahoo head unit paired up with my Garmin radar showing the little car icon coming from behind. Also the gradient color chart showing the upcoming climbs.

Thanks as always for the video. Getting my first head unit this week. Been using my Forerunner, and it’s been terrific, but looking forward to a bigger screen for these 50+ year old eyes!
