There is actually a reason as to why is The legend of Korra not as good as ATLA, and its not even the studio's fault. You see, when Nickelodeon released ATLA, the attention around it was so huge, that Nickelodeon started to want more - hence why Korra exists. But it was not that simple. You see, Korra was originally planned to be a mini series of one season, to boost the popularity of ATLA a little more, the budget was low and the deadlines were almost impossible. The studio that worked on TLOK managed and released the first season and it went super well. The studio thought that TLOK had done its job and that it will be a one season type of thing - hence why you see Korra learning all 4 elements along with mastering avatar state and energy bending in the first season, while it took Aang the whole show to do it, almost as if that was the whole premise of both shows, so the studio was rather surprised when Nickelodeon pushed for a second season. All that bullshit started from there. What Nick had told the studio, however, was that it will be just one more season, then the end. The second season released, it boosted popularity again, Nick got greedy again and pushed for a third. At this point, the studio had to introduce a lot of new story points that weren't in ATLA, so that they could finish the story. Third season went well, but this time Nick weren't happy about it. With the huge popularity increase around ATLA and TLOK, a lot of their other new shows were going under the bridge, and while they pushed for a 4th and final season, Nick wanted to sabotage TLOK, as to take the popularity increase from the talk for the 4th season, but to make the show bad as to not cast a shadow over other shows that were releasing at that time, do they sacked the budget. They gave the studio one third (I think) of the budget for the other three seasons and left the studio to do its work. After I learned that information, I was impressed of the show and its ending. That is why every villain feels like the final one, because it was originally thought to be.

The studio itself couldn't do anything about it too, and they were very passionate about the show. Nickelodeon have the IP, so if they refused the new seasons, Nick would just offer the job to another studio, who will do it worse.

Lazy Mattman feels like the sort of guy you watch when your high asf, or if you need to come down from a bad trip, honestly great stuff here

hey Matt here's an item idea: when you pick it up, your damage is permanently capped at it's current value, but your tear rate is uncapped and all damage ups become tears ups

My favorite moments in Korra was the old avatar gang doing what they usually do, and the one scene with Iroh

16:50 i think the reverse sun is supposed to make you a "spirit of the night", since it basically gives darkness, flight and spectral tears, i don't know what's up with bone hearts but at least they protect your deal chance in some way?

The reason the it lives shots didn't despawn is because repentance completely separated range and shot speed so that range is not affected by shot speed at all and tears only despawn once they have traveled the distance their range gives them regardless of their speed

ok to be fair, korra had some production problems - when you watch it keep in mind they thought every season was going to be their final season

Gusty Blood: Isaac shoots bloody cough shots that pierce, pushing back enemies. Tears shrink with distance, lowering knock back and damage slightly.

I remember this one FightinCowboy video, I think it was a Dark Souls 3 mod, where he was so fed up with that kind of comment that for the entire video every time he found a any item whatsoever he'd stop, play an audio of himself saying "Cowboy, you missed loot" in a mocking voice, and then proceed to completely ignore the item.

He of course collected all the loot before recording the following video.
