That's an XR you're flying. The plane that slid was an LR.
Also, the ERJ has no autothrottle. The autopilot SPD setting adjusts pitch to hold your speed.
This accident was still more tame than the one that went down in PQI earlier this year. That one touched down in the dirt and snapped off all three gear.
Also, I love the ERJ in X-Plane. Best quality ERJ outside of the proprietary simulators used by the actual pilots. Still rife with inaccuracies though. A lot of tiny things that I only notice because I work with the real thing though. Still very good!
