Connecting Chip-Enable to Vcc with a 10K resistor is the proper way, not directly connecting as indicated.

Thanks for this. Had a few of these knocking around with various programming cables etc but couldn't get them to work. Decided to start from scratch and this was the first video that popped up. worked a treat.

Vielen dank. Habe programmator mit dem Schalter gekauft, aber konnte nicht nutzen. es fehlte noch eine brücke zwischen 3, 3V und EN jetzt weiss ich das.

VCC and EN is already shorted in the programmer itself...shy doing the same again?
