Sherine Chong is the suspect in this suicide murder according to Thailand investigation. She lured other five people to invest in a hospital development in Japan but nothing happened. They were supposed to go to Japan for the lawsuit but the Vietnamese couples that gave her over $200k could not go there because of visa issue. They decided to meet in Thailand instead. She told them to go to her room to discuss and resolve business issues after they returned their room keys to the hotel before they departed to Vietnam. She ordered room service and when the room service person wanted to make tea and coffee for her, she refused. She laced their drinks with cyanide or similar substance.

The woman from Oakland was the one who poisoned the others. One of them, a young guy was an innocent victim, he was a professional makeup artist in VN. He was hired by a woman in the group and had flew from VN to Thailand just for that job. The other five were involved in a failed investment of a hospital in Japan. Four of the deceased victims sued the Oakland woman in Japan court and they were supposed to meet in Japan originally to discuss the matter among themselves but one of them couldn’t get the visa approved in time so they decided to meet in Thailand. It was a set up! Money is the root of all evil!!
