In contrast to Viruses, Trojan Horses tend not to replicate themselves

Worms
Use the network to replicate copies to themselves
To spread worms either exploit a vulnerability or use social engineering

Keyloggers / Keystroke Loggers
Software programs or hardware devices that track input activities
Keyloggers are a form of spyware

Bot / Botnets
Bot: An automated software program
Botnet: a network of compromised devices

Spyware / Adware
Applications that covertly monitors online behavior
Often used for advertising.
