ISO Evaluation of the Nikon D600, D700, D800E, D4

This ISO test demonstrates the differences between the Nikon D800, D600 and D4. This new generation of FX full frame cameras provide improved dynamic range and great signal to noise capability. Additionally the D700 was also used in this testing to compare the newer cameras to the prior generation from Nikon.

The data is primarily empirical yet comparable.

Just purchased d700 & 28-70 2.8 , to add to my collection of nikons and its a excellent camera, although down on specs , it still delivers superb images, love it

Really great post work on this video. Great concept also. Would have liked to see the D3s in place of the older body. The D3s vs. the D4 is still remaining in a close competitive arena with each other... Either way, great info, well laid out and really well presented. Thanks for your time and effort.

Really love this. Great job Brian. I wish you could update this using some of the newer cameras like th D810, D750, even the D850. I want you to keep the D4 / D4s in the mix just the same though. I am thinking it will still win with the ISO and Dynamic range.

This is Crazy Good review. I must admit, I didn't expect this in the first 2 minutes.

Then you got my 100% attention. Probably one of the best technical review of the cameras you can find.

Still this won't make anyone a great photographer but it helps crazy on picking the right camera.
I got one D800 and was playing with the idea of having a d600 as backup for weddings.

Now you convinced me. It is a huge value!
