What’s the advantage of getting the KICKR Bike vs using your own bike and pairing it with the standard KICKR + Climb?

Does the bike have functionality to control the Headwind in 'control' mode? So not using heart rate and speed but can you use buttons on the bike to increase or decrease the speed of the headwind directly? I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere. I prefer to control it directly myself using the app but from the bike would be better

Getting impatient... When I Preordered I was told first half of OCT. Then When I inquired at the end of OCT I was told first half of NOV. I inquired again, now being told end of DEC. Made the purchase to try and beat the cold weather. My guess is these are only being shipped to YOUTUBE'ers and Influencers….
