Weibull++ 8 Quick Start Guide Chapter 8.1: Competing Failure Modes

Use the built-in Competing Failure Modes (CFM) analysis method in a Weibull++ Standard Folio to perform the analysis and estimate the median time to failure of the product(i.e., B50 life) and once again using a reliability block diagram (RBD). If possible, determine whether the product can meet a required B10 life of 350 hours. Then determine which failure mode will need to be addressed in order to meet the requirement.
