Daphne running away from Scrappy Doo and saying she knows that it's not a monster has got to be the most hilarious thing ever

This is a way better adult Scooby-Doo than Velma ever will be.

Lets be honest, A scooby doo spin off filmed in the style of a ghost hunter documentaries with this kind of humour would probably be the best thing Scooby doo would have gotten in years

"Daphne stop! It's just Scrappy!"
"I know! I KNOW!"

Best part

It's genuinely terrifying when they're calling for Scooby after they lost him because you can tell just how scared they are that he's gone and they don't know where he is. It literally sounds like a couple of kids that realized one of their friends is missing alone in the woods at night. Which makes their response when they find him just a few feet away even funnier from the juxtaposition.

"It's just Scrappy Doo!"

*"I KNOW!!"*
that was foul, vile, evil, diabolical, and quite possibly demonic

I adore this version of Velma. So pleasant, sweet, and patient.

Even though it looks like the gang died in the end, they actually survived as Fred later appeared for some Cartoon Network football event where he talked about what happened.

I absolutely adore the writing in this. Like when Shaggy made the joke about the lady’s teeth or the group joking about Shaggy’s name being Norvel. They feel real and like they’re actually friends and enjoy each other’s company. They also feel like highschoolers. Like this is the kind of thing I wish me and my friends could do nowadays.

Gotta love how Barbera actually put out a public apology for "traumatizing 90's children"

I love how everyone gets an attitude with everyone every five seconds. Like I legitimately love how they’re acting like real people

To be fair, if I heard Scrappy in the woods, I'd be screaming too.

Not going to lie, this actually works quite well. The characters from Scooby Doo mixed with the element of realistic horror really suits each other. They really should do something like this in the animated series.

Something about Daphne getting increasingly more and more "unhinged" if you wanna call it that is actually sad when you realize that her voice actress at the time Mary Kate Bergman actually took her life too soon, making one of her last roles in the Scooby-Doo franchise.
