Honestly, after the growth spurt, in that close-up shot of Walker's face, he looks pretty badass, an action hero through and through.

I would love if they kept Thalia’s casting a secret until the flashbacks like you said, I’m so excited to see who’s going to be Beckendorf and Silena bc we’ll maybe get to see their relationship in some scenes

It’s not a problem that Walker’s voice got deeper. It makes it more dramatic which is good

Everything looks great, thank you for saying that people need to stop saying Walker looks old any chance they get. He's a kid, he still has baby face, he's just TALL. Walker is already insecure about this age discourse there's no need to rub it in his face even more. There are plenty actors who were and are playing teenagers while they are in their 30s in real life and everyone lives. Just accept it and move on!!

The debate around the age thing and the kids looking older is ridiculous. What do people expect? That they don't grow up? Lol personally, i think it will be cool as the years go by and will definitely be nostalgic to look back once we're in season 4-5 (fingers crossed!!) and see how much they've grown. It's gonna make us cry, for sure. Also, probably by then people will realize they still looked like children in s2.

In Sea of Monsters Percy is 13 going on 14. And Walker is currently 15 so it’s not a crazy age gap, it’s just puberty hit Walker like a bus.

I need season 2 to come now😭 I’m dying to see it especially from the teaser trailer where walker was holding the restrains for the horse and then just like the whole trailer made me almost cry and I screamed I’m so excited to see siren song scene

walkers or any of the casts aging really isnt that big deal just like you said. like why people forget that percy is supposed to age and grow taller as the books continue thats completely normal, a big part of pjo is the hero can be anyone and that having dyslexia or adhd doesnt stop you from being one so why would someones literal puberty should (i dont know if that makes sense lol) anyway love your vids sm

Him hitting the puberty and his growth spurt just makes this series a lot better. Honestly, after all he'd been through in Season 1, his voice, his overall look - it makes sense to me.

Imagine being a part of Percy Jackson and still going to school.

4:20 PREACHH people are making way too big of a deal about it. At least the show's trio are still kids, unlike cough cough the movies

I need to reread Sea of Monsters too. It's been so long that I don't even remember most of the story outside of the main plot. As far as the Thalia casting goes, I'd personally prefer for it to be a surprise.

Its so werid cuz people are mainly freaking out because of the fact walker will mostly be in his early 20s by the time the show gets to season 5. They act like if he is that he can’t play percy anymore meanwhile Daniel radcliffe was in his 20s by last HP movie. There also shows and movies in 2024 where actors in their 20s still play characters that suppose to be 16-17. In my opinion it will actually be beneficial to show’s team if both leah and walker are over the age of 18 by the last two seasons cuz then they work the full hours and not have worry about doing school in between takes.

S2 feels so much more real, knowing the actors, how s1 was, how much bigger their budget is. It gonna be more epic than anything so far and I’m hyped

I’d like it if they melted a secret with flashbacks. What I mean by this, is not show her face, and have the camera angled at her body so you know it’s Thalia but not who the actor is. Then at the end, do the same camera angle then move to her face as a reveal.

It's so easy for things to leak these days. The only way they can prevent leaks is if they literally don't tell the cast and crew things that would actually help them (as is the case with Marvel Studios). I remember just enough on-set footage of recent-ish Doctor Who episodes helped the fandom figure out a couple characters' relationships even before it was announced officially who these characters are. Therefore, I don't think the PJO team will try to keep Thalia's actress a secret until she appears onscreen. They'll probably announce her around the time she has to begin filming.
Side note: I'm so scared for whoever ends up playing Silena because people are MEAN about characters who are supposed to be the prettiest ones. I don't trust people, smh.
